The Nerf Longstrike: An Original Sniper + (Unowned) Mod Tutorial

Some say the Nerf Longstrike is easily one of the worst Nerf blasters ever. These people are half right, and half wrong. The Longstrike's stock performance is not good, no joke. But with even the most basic of modifications, the Longstrike can be a powerful blaster.

I do not own any of this video. All credit goes to nerfperformance for making this epic, yet simple tutorial video. But it surely demonstrates that the basic AR removal and spring replacement will make this a force to contend with in the battlefield.
The Whiteout version of the Longstrike.

Now, how practical can the Longstrike be in a Nerf war, even with modifications? Well, it depends on if you know how to use the blaster. Everyone knows that it's a sniper weapon, so it obviously makes sense that, as the sniper class, you need to find a safe spot to snipe. Note: this goes for all sniper weapon users. The blaster's ability to hold 3 mags allows you to store extra firepower without taking up space on your vest (if you have one). It's a good idea to use those mag holoders, though bear in mind that they only hold 6-dart mags only. Exept the one that feeds into your blaster.

The Longstrike is also a very long blaster, about three feet long, in fact. Keep that in mind when transporting the blaster.

Finally to end it all, the sight is a pretty good sight. Use it!
